1951: Pioneer celebrates its centennial with consumer promotions and a family reunion.

1952: Promotion of Pioneer mixes includes participation in regional fairs and parades, and the baking of a 1,500-pound cake with Pioneer Cake Mix for the Texas Food Fair in Houston.

1954: Pioneer President Adolph Beckmann dies at 66 and is succeeded by his cousin Ernst Schuchard, 60.

1957: Ernst Schuchard retires as president and is succeeded by Alfred Beckmann.

1967: New office building and warehouse added to help serve a 12-state marketing area west to New Mexico, east to Tennessee and Alabama, north to Kansas and south into northern Mexico.

1968: In a flood control measure the San Antonio River, which looped around Pioneer Flour Mills to the West, is rerouted around the opposite side to the East.

1972: White Wings Flour Tortilla Mix is introduced and becomes a fast-selling product.

1973: Alfred Beckmann resigns as president and is succeeded by Robert Schupbach, Vice President of sales. The company begins marketing efforts to the foodservice and restaurant industry.
